So much clutter in year 2008? Try considering new house rules in organizing your house for 2009.

I am not so much of a home buddy so when I looked back on how did I managed the house in 2008, I might consider a better plan to organize my pad in 2009. You might as well try this this one for a change.

Living Spaces

Reorganize your Entertainment System

If your entertainment system is not yet organized try to find special cabinets in the market that could make everything neat. Say for example if your cds is still placed in an album-case then you could try a shelve that can organize them, you can arrange them in alphabetical order or even genre if you dare. You can even get rid of films you don’t watch or albums that you don’t listen.

Throw paper thrash

Some documents like bank statements, bills and the like have a validity period so if filed for more than a year it is considered thrash. Better yet check out your filings and get rid of anything you don’t need. You can shred it and even sell it to nearest recycle shop in your locality.

Sorting of book collection

Go through your books, I myself has a lot of book collection so the best solution to decongest the bookshelves is storing the books you got tired of reading and displaying only the books that still interests you.

Bedroom

Discard some shirts and pants you don’t wear. Buy organizer for shoes to prevent them from being squashed and misshapen. You can also give up some if you don’t wear them anymore.

Pair up bed linen. its an irritating problem-you start to make up a king-sized bed and discover the ironed sheet you’ve just unfolded is a double. Solve it by storing each set folded into one of its pillowcases-or stick a small adhesive label on to each sheet, marking its type.
