It is hard enough working in a regular nine to five desk job while trying to maintain a healthy diet. Serving clients oftentimes led us to forget our snacks or even drinking water. So here are some tips for a healthier office clerks.

  1. Be more active. Sitting all day is no excuse for not eating right. Eat your regular meal. Even if the job doesn’t require physical strength, calories are still burned through thinking. So eat right. And most importantly be more physically active by engaging into sport. They say that the energy you take in should equate to the energy output.
  2. Visit a nutritionist. Our bodies tend to react differently at stress. There is no denial that we get stressed in situations like deadlines. Some people gain weight at stress by over eating and some lose weight because of metabolic rise (I learned this in college). By consulting your nutritionist you are able to know what diet suits you. They can help plan a healthy diet based on our needs, occupation and food preference.
  3. Finally, work for a company that cares. Ideally a company should have an in-house physician and should be available around the clock. A recreational facility should also be available so that clerks can organize sports-fest.

Health is wealth, so maintain a healthy lifestyle.
