The daily run of office and household work can tire us fast than we expect. So when we get tired we are vulnerable to stress. While we want to move one step further to finish all the task it leads us to unhealthy lifestyle.
Health specialist like my physician recommends a stress management plan. He states that busy individuals like me and you should have time to relax, replenish the lost energy by eating right and expanded time.
Health professionals suggests to do the following exercises when you are in your break.
Breath in, breathe out. Breathing exercises can make the oxygen circulate in the body normally. Breathe deep up to the top of your lungs, hold it for four seconds and slowly release it afterwards. This technique can make the exchange of oxygen more efficiently.
Move that body. Physical exercises accordingly has so many benefits in the body. It includes physical wellness as well as mental health Move your feet, stretch or go for a short walk. If you have exercise program on CD’s, use it and feel how it will take all the stress away.
Take time to eat your snack. Sometimes we are devoured by our work that we forget to eat or even drink our water. This could make us hungry and dehydrate. So replenish those burned calories with a little snack and drink a glass of water or juice.
Finally relax with a massage. Give your body a good massage by rubbing them with a light fist. Early this morning before doing my work I had a gentle massage from our therapist in the bank. It was so relaxing and very rejuvenating.
