Lately I was feeling kind of loose, I am so stressed out and yet I tend to eat a lot. I eat more than I used to, then suddenly as I weigh in I gained so much weight. I even post a comment about my uniform size, with that I suddenly realized I’m getting bigger, my uniform is getting tighter in my body.

Expert say that we’re psychologically programmed to yearn foods we associated with happiness as kids, as for me I believe that certain food will make me feel better like bread and chocolate. Guess what I’m partly right. Carbs in bread actually produce serotonin-the brain chemical responsible for restoring happy mood. They are also vital in our diet because they give us energy. Though I get the benefit of being chirpy. I still have problems with carbs, the excess pounds it gives me this is carbohydrates attack. Gee what can I do about it?

My suggestion for the carb issue is to learn to limit your carb intake. Believe me when I say I understand about certain foods. Potatoes, pasta, bread and sweets have been my life up until the last year or so. I was diagnosed diabetic and forced to change my eating habits. I’ve found that in moderation, the carbs aren’t so bad. The real key is to remember to not go crazy. I’m allowed 60 grams of carbs per meal (which is a lot really) and using that as my guide and adding in exercise, I’ve lost about 30 pounds and have my blood sugar under control (with medication). What I’m saying is, you don’t have to give up the good stuff, just learn to be diligent.
