Crabs

Crabs are the common name for a family of crustaceans with more than 6000 species, of which about are considered true crabs. What they share characteristically are reduced abdomens and enlarged, broadened bodies. In general, crabs are edible, with their meat being rich in protein and low in fat. Their front legs, more commonly referred to as claws, bear pincers, which are culinary preferred sections because they are where crab meat is deliciously found. They are prepared on steamed or they can be cooked with spicy sauces like cayenne pepper, wine and tomatoes.
