I recently saw a documentary from CNN about women in Hollywood that has female pattern hair loss. These celebrities are the unfortunate ones who once had their fame in the entertainment scene, but now they hide from the cameras. Most of them still is a part of industry though, they could be found in the set of the movie directing or in an office writing scripts. Some are courageous enough to undergo some procedure to bring back their hair. Most of the interviewed were once famous, but names are withheld upon request of the celebrities, one interviewed was a famous star up to now, but her face was blurred in order to protect herself. Doctors say that a female would need two X chromosomes with the defect to show typical male pattern alopecia or hair loss. Anyway the female celebrities who has this condition made me proud of them despite their condition they still continue their craft in show business. We may not see them perform in front of the camera, but without them some movies will not be made.
