Thanks my sweet friend

Sometimes life brings surprises you don’t expect. I had an office mate who had been my crush for about months, I invited her several times for a dinner and I can call it a date. We made a connection somehow, we are happy in each others company. We keep on communicating each other in sweet thoughts, and I really planned on asking her if we could be more than friends. This did not happen though because December last year she said she would resign in her job. According to her she is no longer happy with her career in the bank and decided to migrate in some place where there is career advancement like in the US or Australia. I was so shocked and all my dreams fade out. I did not expect that to happen. Anyway at the time of her farewell party I still gave her a personalized gift so that she can remember me anywhere she goes. I was hurt in a way because I could no longer have her if she is far away, my plans are gone in an instant, but accordingly we must set free people that once crossed path with us. They have a journey in their own, if in any way I fell for her I should move on, maybe we are not just meant for each other. I hope one day we will meet again, thanks my sweet friend.
