One of the most interesting places to visit in North America is the Province of Quebec in Canada. It is interesting because this is the only place in North America where French is the main language. I have been on this land just once and I could not forget the time I was there because I was so unprepared for that travel. Whenever I look back I am amused with myself. Anyway here it goes, I arrived in what is known as Dorval Airport (Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport) feeling so hungry so I stop for a while and searched for some snacks. I wanted to buy doughnuts and talked to a sales staff as expected I wasn’t ready because the girl immediately talked to me in French which I don’t have any knowledge. I was tongue tied that I could not talk, luckily the girl talked in English to my relief. I just smile and she smiled back. She asked what are my orders and I also talked back I just thought they aren’t bilingual. Anyway going back on my journey I am very much confident that I could roam the city because I have a smartphone with me or to their language smart cellulaires. I have a GPS and some map app which could make my navigation easy, but as I open my device it has no signal or anything, I forgot to activate my roaming system back at home. So I was forced to buy a new phone along with a SIM card just to tell my family at home that I am safe in Montreal “the Paris of North America”. After that though things were in my control, maybe I just got nervous because that was the first time I visited Montreal.
