I am preparing for an All inclusive family vacations this coming February. We had lots of preparation of course like getting plane tickets for the family and getting a new camcorder to record all moments for our vacation. I went to the mall just earlier to look for a best buy camcorder. Here’s what I get Sony DCR-DVD650 DVD Handycam Camcorder. This high end camera features a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens that means a 60x optical zoom and 2000x digital zoom, amazing isn’t it? So whenever my kids soak in the beach while I am bathing I can just zoom in and record the video with breeze. It also has simple buttons that makes it a user-friendly.

Going back our destination would be Mexico in Azul Beach Hotel Resort, on a beautiful stretch of the Bahia Pentempich beach in Puerto Moreles, re-opened this season after being completely redesigned, and is the first boutique all-inclusive resort. With just 98 rooms, a gourmet-inclusive dining philosophy and many family-friendly amenities, Azul Beach Hotel offers families a new way to vacation. Parents are pampered with adult-sized indulgences as well as extras like strollers, cribs, baby milk heaters, beach games, coloring books, refrigerators for milk and medicines, and even kid-sized bathrobes. Beach buffs will revel in the services of dedicated Beach Butlers, offering the ultimate in service and sun bathing convenience, including soft towel service, refreshment deliveries, tanning products and water vaporizers.

In this tiny land of mountain sports and quaint vistas lies a complex history of war, art and royalty, which includes the infamous Habsburg Empire and California’s newest monarch, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. At the hub of it all is Vienna, a city built on pillars of architectures, artwork and music. In a country famed on its tradition, Vienna brings a progressive, modern flare to a traditional past.

Vienna is a museum that’s intended to teach its onlookers a thing about the past while requesting you pass through with indoor voices. Encircled by the Danube Canal and a system of boulevards called the Ring, Vienna’s beauty unfolds within its display of European history — whether that be one of its many architectural innovations sprinkled throughout the city or several music halls where composers like Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn once waved their batons.

This is Vienna, Austria in my mind.

While Cambodians will never forget recent periods of darkness in their homeland, they are slowly, but surely reconstructing their country. Towards this end, tourism is central to their economic growth and Angkor is the jewel of their empire. The UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site of Angkor, which boasts of a civilization that thrived from the eighth to the 14th century, now attracts visitors from around the world.

International tourists can fly directly into Siem Reap to see the temples of Angkor. Siem Reap, the town adjacent to the Angkor, is pleasant retreat from the bustling capital. Here, visitors can expect to see more bicycle than vehicles on the streets. Motobikes are one of the best ways to visit the Angkor monuments and they can be rented quite reasonably in many places in town. The alternative is to hire per day taxis or to join a tour

A Society of water and Rice:

During the peak of the Khmer empire, Angkor was the most dominant civilization in the entire Southeast Asia. The society was a hydrological one based on harnessing water to grow crops around the large inland lake called Tonle Sap. Specifically, the Khmer people existed through using the natural resources of the forests, floodplain soil and the waters of the rivers and lake.

Throughout the past century, Taos in northern New Mexico, USA, has attracted celebrities who have been inspired by its diverse culture: crisp, clean air; and, natural beauty. Civil war hero Kit Carson lived, and is buried in Taos. English novelist D.H Lawrence visited and live there intermittently, and his ashes are interred at the D.H. Lawrence ranch in San Cristobal, 25 kilometers north of Taos. In 1922, he made the following observation: “I think New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I have ever had; it certainly changed me forever. The moment I saw the brilliant, proud morning shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe, something stood still in my soul.”

Movie star Julia Roberts retreats to Taos between movies to recharge her batteries and to absorb the energy within the local community. Dennis Hopper, another famed actor, skillfully used images of Taos when he produced the cult movie “Easy Rider” 40 years ago his year. In celebration of this quintessential American road movie, Taos will celebrate a summer of love this year. Arts and film festivals and concerts will be staged int he town from May to September and the Harwood Museum of Arts will feature Dennis Hopper’s art.

Oh summer season is in, and the best way to spend it, at the beach. Going to the beach is a bit chaotic, especially for the ladies like my girlfriend. They have to bring with them some lotion, sun block, and other beach paraphernalia. If you ask me what would I bring in the beach simple, myself and my shades. You know going on a white sandy beach is only a 15 minutes away from the city so it would be a hassle if I brought a lot. There are also stores that sell goodies for skin protection by the way so nothing to worry about skin damage.

Anyway shades shouldn’t be absent if I happen to go out on that sunny site. You know glare and that UV can also damage our eyes. I’ve also noticed that I’m not the only one wearing it, almost all people. So whenever I see these folks and me of course I can always remember my grandpa saying so much about ray ban. He said that the US Army Air Corps created an anti glare lens for pilots to protect them from ultra violet rays of the sun (war time memories I guess). He also said that since they have debuted on a mass scale in the 1930s shaded spectacles have emerged into classic accessories that have come to exude the quality of being cool. Maybe it’s true, looking on images of classic stars like James Dean or Marilyn Monroe makes you think that shades was a really popular thing even in the past.

I’m a bit off topic, but I will sure have fun going out the beach this weekend and I won’t let the sun’s harmful rays damage my eyes.

When I was in high school I get a chance to travel everywhere. I was in scouting that time and I went to places where there is a jamboree event. That was a long time ago since then I never had the chance to travel for leisure instead I travel for a purpose of going to work. So I am planning to spend my 15 days vacation leave of New York City Sightseeing. Earlier my sister suggested me of going somewhere else like in Hawaii maybe, but in the end I picked out New York because I want to see its beauty and its colorful history. I am totally fascinated with the city’s light; I only get to see New York light in picture but going there means I can take a real glimpse of its bright skyline. I got even more excited when my mom told me about New York. She’d been there, there’s no doubt she knew some information about it. She said New York became the center of immigration wherein people from Europe that seeks a better life must head for New York; in short it is the land of opportunity. I know everyone calls it the Big Apple and so for once I want to take a bite of it. I’m sure it will be my most memorable experience during vacation leave.

These days due to financial crisis people tend to forget how to relax. I suggest even if life can be so stressful, we should somehow take time to relax, find scenic place if not outside your locality, then be it in your place.

I would like to share about the Kangaroo Island. This is a wonderful holiday destination just off the South Australian Coast. The main attraction of this Island though is not the Kangaroo but the seals that lazily sunning themselves in isolated beaches. Of course there are Kangaroos, but they can be found in the National Parks in an open grassy areas.

In 1802 English navigator Matthew Flinders lay his eyes on the island’s Kangaroo before seeing the seals. Archaeological evidence showed that the island has been inhabited by aborigines for up to 11,000 years before Flinders arrived. However, the island was unpopulated when Fliders circumnavigated it. Accordingly they may have died out.

Nowadays, there is a growing number of tourists that is discovering the beauty of this island. To name a few scenic spots, Flinders Chase National Park is an awesome wildlife reserve. There you can get very close to Australia’s wild animals. There are also Granite boulders sculptured by nature and was named “Remarkable Rocks”. Kangaroo Island offers more exciting activity for us to enjoy life even if we are having a tough time.

Have fun
